Atharvotsav, the signature annual event from Awancious Engage that adds a new dimension of joy and meaning to the Ganapati Festival. More than just a celebration, Atharvotsav is a heartfelt one-day Ganeshotsav camp designed to bring families and communities together. We believe in celebrating traditions by passing them down through generations, and this event is a testament to that philosophy.
What is Atharvotsav?
Atharvotsav is a unique one-day camp typically held a week before Ganesh Chaturthi across various cities in Maharashtra. It’s a space where families, children, and elders come together to learn, create, and celebrate in a collaborative and enriching environment. Our focus is on fostering a deeper connection with Lord Ganesha through hands-on activities, cultural learning, and shared experiences.
Our Unique Features:
A Celebration for the Whole Family: Atharvotsav is built on the principle of family involvement. It's a special opportunity for parents and children to work together, side-by-side, creating memories and passing on knowledge. Families jointly participate in every activity, from crafting the idol to enjoying performances, strengthening bonds and celebrating together.
Ganesh Idol Making: At the heart of Atharvotsav is the shared activity of making your own Ganapati idol. We provide all the necessary pure, natural ingredients, and our experts guide participants through the process, ensuring a creative and sustainable approach to the festival. It's a joyful experience where you can craft an idol with your own hands, feeling a personal connection to your Bappa. The Ganesh idol is not only eco-friendly but also aligns with all the guidelines outlined in the Vedas and Hindu science.
A Journey of Knowledge: The celebration goes beyond art and craft. We organise sessions where participants are trained to memorise and understand the sacred Ganapati Stotra, Atharvashirsha, and devotional songs. This unique blend of traditional knowledge and modern celebration is a key part of our mission to preserve and pass on our rich cultural heritage.
Community and Creativity: The event features a variety of music, singing, and dance performances that you can enjoy together. It's a fantastic opportunity for kids to learn new art forms, from making decorations to crafting intricate sand art. Our collaborative environment allows families to celebrate as one, with kids and elders working side-by-side to bring their ideas to life.
Atharvotsav is a different, more connected way to celebrate Ganeshotsav. It’s where creativity meets spirituality, and tradition is celebrated with a modern twist. Join us and make memories that will last a lifetime, all while feeling more deeply connected with Ganapati and the true spirit of the festival.
Atharvotsav 2025 was held on August 24, 2025, at Ekvira Devi Temple in Dhule, Maharashtra. The event was hosted by Tejasvini Tejas Kulkarni and was enjoyed by over 70 families.
